How we help:

Uganda

Support to the British Council's work in Sub-Saharan Africa, Uganda

BRITISH COUNCIL

We led a team of experts to ensure that the conflict, context and methodologies used were appropriate for South Sudan NGOs and activists affected by violent conflict. We assessed the suitability of new gender/conflict sessions and facilitators’ capacity to deliver programmes.

Rwanda

Organisational capacity assessment, Rwanda

SURVIVORS FUND (SURF)

We did a participatory organisational capacity assessment of the field offices (2005). SURF now has a number of field offices and continues to provide holistic support to women survivors of the genocide. We also designed and conducted a participatory impact assessment of a donor-funded survivor empowerment programmes in Rwanda in 2005.
